BET AWARDS ’08
The BET Awards ’08 was a “blockbuster movie” themed awards show incorporating both online and off-line components. Ballot Works worked closely with BET to ensure that the printed collateral was as captivating as possible. A 27" x 41" movie poster featuring the show's talent was created by Ballot Works and each member of the voting academy received a piece of movie candy and a movie-style mock admission ticket, as well a 40 page booklet of nominees.

The BET Hip-Hop Awards ’09 incorporated both online and off-line components with two collateral pieces created for the members of the Voting Academy to promote two rounds of voting—a nomination round and a final vote. To kick off nominations, Ballot Works created a 40 page booklet containing all the eligible nominees to allow voters to peruse a printed version of the hundreds of nominees before logging on to the eBallot. To promote the final vote, Academy members received invitation-style mail pieces.

After several years on hiatus, the Soul Train Awards made a big return to Viacom’s new Centric network. An online only campaign, Ballot Works worked with Centric to devolop an online ballot that reflected the Soul Train brand’s legendary look and feel.
